Summer Month Hours (June-July)

Learning Services

Program Plans

  • Individual Session

    Individual sessions are one-on-one with an instructor for an hour.

    Individual Sessions: $25/session

  • Twice per Week.

    One-on-one instruction with an instructor for an hour, twice per week.

    Twice per week: $40 ($10 savings)

  • Three Times per Week

    One-on-one instruction with an instructor for an hour, three times per week.

    Three times per week: $60 ($15 savings)

  • Four Times per Week

    One-on-one instruction with an instructor for an hour, four times per week.

    Four times per week: $80 ($20 savings)

Specialty Services List

  • Summer Slide

    Studies show students lose about 17-34% of learning from the previous year in the summer (nwea.org). This program is designed to hit big skills students learn in reading and math to help stop that learning loss!

    3 classes per week- $60

  • Homework Help (August-May)

    Students receive help on homework from their classroom with one-on-one assistance.

  • Test-Taking Strategies (3rd-5th)

    16-20% of students have a form of test anxiety (American Test Anxieties Association). This program equips students with simple strategies in all testing forms to take them from anxious to confident when taking assessments.

Reading Programs

  • Intermediate Writing Workshop (3rd-5th)

    Writing is a fundamental skill most students struggle with in school. This program is designed to help students organize their writing, get it on paper, and structure it in a way that makes sense.

    4th Grade- Opinion/Informational Writing

    5th Grade- On-demand writing

  • Reading Foundations (1st-2nd)

    Foundations are key to a successful reader! This program focuses on phonics, sight word recognition, comprehension, and retell strategies to make your young reader soar!

  • Intermediate Anchor Skills (3rd-5th)

    Anchor skills are reading strategies that follow students through multiple grade levels. This program includes practice in compare/contrast, finding and citing evidence and summarizing.

  • Primary Writing Workshop (1st-2nd)

    This program is designed to help students write simple sentences and focus on correct grammar/punctuation. Some summarizing skills are spiraled in.

    1st- Simple sentence structure

    2nd- Simple sentence structure, grammar, punctuation, 1-3 sentence paragraph writing

Math Programs

  • Word Problem Breakdown

    In this program, students learn to break down written math problems, pull out key information, and create a plan to take the stress out of word problems.

  • Fast-Fact Practice

    This program focuses on fast-facts for multiples 2-12. This utilizes a combination of digital and hands-on methods for students to practice fast-facts.

  • Addition/Subtraction Help (1st-4th)

    Using a combination of hands-on, standard, and digital methods students practice addition and subtraction appropriate to their grade-level standard.

  • Fractions (4th-5th)

    Students practice creating basic fractions, adding/subtracting, as well as multiplication and division with fractions for the upper grades.

    Students practice basic division using one digit numbers, working all the way to decimals depending on their grade level.
